Mirror means mentioning what you think you see, without judging, to show that you want to try to understand. This is a simple way to start a conversation.
In safe groups, you can reflect feelings. In groups you are unfamiliar with, you will have to content yourself with mirroring intentions: “You seem to have a question.” Repeating the exact same words that the other person has said can be perceived as you simply repeating, without understanding. Such mirroring should be avoided.
